2024-2025 Guided Walks

Join the Martha’s Vineyard Land Bank for a winter season of guided walks.

The land bank staff will lead free natural history walks on various land bank properties on the following days:

Sunday, December 1^st                    Aquinnah Headlands, North    Aquinnah

Sunday, January 5^th                      Short Cove Preserve                West Tisbury

Sunday, February 2^nd                    Ripley’s Field Preserve            Tisbury

Sunday, March 2^nd                        Three Ponds Reservation        Edgartown

Sunday April 6^{​​​​​​​t​​​​​​​h}                             To be determined

Sunday May 4^th                             Great Rock Bight Preserve ​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​ ​​​​​​​   Chilmark

Walks take place rain or shine, so hikers are advised to dress appropriately. Walks begin at 1 pm and last approximately 1-2 hours unless otherwise noted. For more information call the land bank office at (508) 627-7141. 

Look in the newspaper the week before the hike for details as to time and meeting place.
