The land bank is offering green hardwood whole logs to the public for firewood on a first-come first-serve basis to the first 20 applicants, after which the list will close.

The firewood pick-up day is Saturday, February 10th from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm. If you have been selected you will be notified by 4:00 pm on Tuesday, February 6th.
If you are selected you are responsible for cutting the logs to desired lengths and for all transportation of wood from the staging area at the Southern Woodlands Reservation on Barnes Road in Oak Bluffs. The amount of wood allotted to each person will be approximately a half-cord.
Please note: February 10th is the only pick-up day, so if you are selected please be prepared to pick up the wood between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm that day.
