Description

The site of one of the island’s first examples of CSA — community-supported agriculture — Whippoorwill Farm is renowned for its tomatoes. A trail runs the length of the field, connecting the state forest and the Old Holmes Hole Path, which itself connects northerly to the John Presbury Norton Farm and Blackwater Pond Reservation and southerly to the Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation’s Nat’s Farm.

Travel down the Old County Road 1.2 miles from its intersection with the State Road; farm is located here on the right.
