Description
The southwesterly flank of Washaqua Hill is conserved here, with its long-distance view of the breach in Norton Point Beach. In the foreground is a sloping meadow leading down to a small salt-pond braced by a 550'-long cobble beach. Boats may be launched into the Katama Bay at the foot of the Quammox Road; short-term drop-off parking is provided there, with longer-term parking in the trailhead up the hill.

Uses
Nature study, hiking, picnicking, mountain-biking, horseback-riding, dog-walking (leashing required April 15-July 30), hunting (with permission), fishing, kayaking, scenic vista.

Directions
Start at the intersection of the Chappaquiddick and Quammox Roads. Proceed down the Quammox Road 0.1 miles and turn left into trailhead.
